Chaos Flames are the resources for the Blade of Chaos to fully upgrade the Weapon. Situated in different locations. You have to do some Quests to approach the locations of the flames. Some flames will be given to you through the main story.
First, you need to access the areas to complete this guide. First, you need to completeMuspelheim (The Crucible Quest). The second one is The Crater, Vanaheim (Scent of Survival Quest). The third one is Return of the River Quest to Flood the Crater which will be available in The Sinkholes.
1. Find Chaos Flame In The Crucible (Muspelheim)
In Muspelheim you have to complete the six challenges to unlock the chest. Once you complete the challenges get the flame from the chest. The chest is situated in an open circular area.
2. Find Chaos Flame In The Watchtower (Svartalfheim)
After reaching the location you will see a wall blocked by a flame pot. Use your Axe to destroy and climb the wall. There you will see a small flame enemy emerging from the floor. After defeating your quest (Born from Flame) will start. Complete all Six Draugr Holes.
3. Find Chaos Flame In The Apple-Core (Svartalfheim)
The (Born from Flame) Quest will take you to The Apple Core. Complete the second Draugr Hole here.
4. Find Chaos Flame In The Barrens (Alfheim)
The third Draugr Hole is situated in the Barrens. Complete the third Draugr Hole (Born from Flame) here.
5. Find Chaos Flame In The Lake of the Nine (Midgard)
The fourth Draugr Hole is located in Midgard. This is a snow place go there and complete the task.
6. Find Chaos Flame In The Abandoned Village (Vanaheim)
The fifth Draugr Hole is located in Vanaheim. You will see a waterfall in the village. Under the waterfall, you will see a cave. Enter the cave at the end of the cave you will see the fifth Draugr Hole.

This is the last task which will require the zone to have water back. Complete the Berserker Grave Stone. Use your boat to reach the big stairs area. After crossing the broken bridge you will see a Grave. Interact with the grave to start the quest.
A mirror boundary will be drawn around and a boss (Haklangr the Bearded) will appear. Defeat the boss and get the Chaos Flame. It will also give you the Tempered Remnants.
