What is Purified Crystalline in Ragnarok?
If you have been trying to upgrade the blade of chaos, Draupnir Spear, shield, or any of your gears and armor. You may have noticed that you need 20 to 40 Purified Crystallines for pretty much every upgrade you want to get to level 8 or 9.
The game never really shows a specific way to get Purified Crystalls. But you may have noticed that you are picking the Crystalls by breaking these yellow rocks located all over the crater.
So any time you are in the crater location and in the jungle as well. If you see these yellow crystals. Use your spear to break them it will shatter and drop the Crystalline fragments. You can’t do anything with the fragments unless you purify them first. Then you will be able to use them to upgrade your armor and weapons.
How to Find Purified Crystalline in God of War: Ragnarok
First, you need to finish Favor: Scent of Survival to unlock the Wishing Well then go to the Vanaheim > The Plains.
You may have seen the yellow crystals during Vanaheim quests destroy them throughout the Crater area of Vanaheim. All the crystals that you have picked up in the story and side quests take them to the Wishing Well.
At The Wishing Well, you will see an interaction point used to throw in crystals so that they can be purified.
So, when you come to the wishing well you will begin to throw the crystals in the water depending on everything in your inventory. Not only it’s going to drop the purified crystals it will also give you the Palckart armor which is one of the best armor in God of War Ragnarok. It will reduce the damage taken while using the runic attacks.
What are Crystalline Shards and Crystalline Fragments in God of War: Ragnarok?
Crystalline shards and fragments are a unique, raw material that can only be discovered in a particular area of Vanaheim.
You’ll find them inside big orange crystal-like formations, and Kratos can extract them using the explosive feature of his Draupnir Spear.
Where to Find Crystalline Shards and Fragments
You can find these orange growths in the new part of Vanaheim after saving Freyr from the Einherjar. Start the “Scent of Survival” quest to get to this area, starting with the Crater region. You’ll see these crystal growths all around.
Make sure to look everywhere when you’re searching for shards and fragments because some of the growths are in weird places.
There are three sizes of crystal growth – small, medium, and large. Only the big ones have fragments, and when you throw them into the wishing well, you usually get better rewards.
