1. Tree Method to Unlock Shiny Applin
At Navi Squad’s Base, you will find normal trees and some colored trees. When you focus on the colored tree you will see the Applin Pokémon hanging there on the tree.

Applin Pokémon likes to spawn around trees so you need to head toward the East Province (Area Three). You need to go to the Poke Center from there head towards the tree area named (Tagtree Thicket). This is a straight path follow it and reach Tagtree Thicket.
You need to knock the tree which will make Applin Pokémon fall down. You can easily get the Applin but you need the Shiny Applin for that you need to knock the tree until you get the Shiny Applin. You can use the Dash Ability to do that.
Craft the Shiny Power Sandwich To Get Shiny Applin
You need to craft a sandwich that has the Shiny Power. You can craft any sandwich with the combination of Herba Mystica. Herba Mystica is a rare Item in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet which you need to get.
Make a combination of ingredients like Salty Herba Mystica or Avocado. After making the sandwich it will activate the buff.
How to Catch Shiny Applin in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Use Koraidon Pokémon to knock the tree to get Applin. It’s a time-consuming process so it might take up to half an hour or more. So you need to be patient and wait until you get the Shiny Applin.
The Shiny Applin will be Green in color. When you see the shiny Applin on the tree you need to knock the tree one more time which will make Shiny Applin Fall.
Interact and battle with the Shiny Applin. Shiny Applin’s level will be 29 when you encounter him. Throw the ball to catch Shiny Applin.

In the breeding method, you need to start the picnic and get the items to the breeding Pokémon which has the shiny encounter power. You can also craft the sandwich which will give you a shiny encounter buff. Maybe you will get lucky after hatching eggs and getting yourself a Shiny Applin.
