In Path of Exile 2, you get a lot of short-term advantages by finishing various missions, but some of the character-enhancing abilities you acquire are permanent. From increased stats to more skill points to use on your build, each of these continual boons has a unique benefit. You have more opportunities to give your character more permanent bonuses as they develop during each Act of the game.
Because every class in Path of Exile 2 has different attributes and abilities they choose to prioritize, not every permanent bonus will work for every build. Fortunately, you can unlock most of the eternal bonuses that are common to several archetypes. Going forward in your playthrough, you may occasionally have to select between two accessible buffs because some benefits need you to make a decision.
All Permanent Stat Boosts & How To Get Them
Overcoming many bosses in each story act of the game is one of the most popular ways to obtain permanent bonuses. Many of these enemies appear in side quests you can do during your journey or are featured in the main plot. Completing alternative missions or chores outside of the main plot, including gathering equipment or making gear for particular NPCs in Path of Exile 2, is another way to obtain these perks.
Acts 1-3 and Cruel Acts 1-3 are the six tale Acts where you can get permanent benefits. You can explore new content for new gear and higher-level foes in a Cruel Act, which is a harder setting for the current campaign Acts. When playing on Cruel difficulty, the prerequisites for obtaining permanent buffs remain the same, but the stat enhancements are altered to be entirely different.

Tip – When you are crafting out your character’s build in your ongoing adventures, you can always change the permanent stat bonus that was offered in Act 2 from the Valley of the Titans.

You can get new ways to upgrade your build and get ready to perform the same activities on Cruel difficulty for even more buffs if you get all the bonuses in the major plot Acts. In Path of Exile 2, you must re-advance certain objectives to obtain all of the permanent stat bonuses that are available. These objectives will be at the same areas that you recall from your original campaign.
