You can find Pikachu early in the game but you need to play through the very beginning part which, of course, depends on how long it takes. This is basically a tutorial part in the school area when you get to the point where you complete the school stuff and are basically given the free room on the map and you can decide where you want to go. This is the point where you can start catching your Pokémon.
Location to Find Pikachu
After doing all the stuff and training what you need to do is go from the main town where your school is located in. Then you need to do is head to the west of the location where you going to find yourself in the town (Cortondo).
There are two conveniently placed Pokémon Centers there. You can also travel fast to that place but later in the game. Pikachu is spawned to the southwest of the town where you see the green area of the town. Basically, this is where you want to turn your attention to it’s a relatively low-level area. So it’s something you can do pretty much earlier. Most of the things around here tend to be in sort of level 10 to level 14. So it’s however worth noting if you check the Pokedex you can see that this is a rare spawn for this Pokémon.
How to make Pikachu Appearance Frequently:
They will definitely not show up that frequently however thankfully sandwiches make this easier. Pikachu is typically located in that area what you want to do is craft yourself a sandwich there are various different ones but what you want to do is look out for a sandwich (Avocado) that has counter-electric power. Once you craft this it will increase the chance of electric Pokémon showing up.
How to catch Pikachu:
After doing that turnaround and doing a search around the grassy area where the tree is located you will see the Pikachu there. Go and grab the Pikachu and don’t kill it.
