The Predation Gallery puzzle requires you to arrange the paintings in the hall which will unlock the bars in the gallery. There is a chest behind the bars which you will unlock by solving the Predation Gallery puzzle.

There are different paintings in the gallery and it can be confusing to find out how to arrange them in the correct order. One of the paintings is missing from the Gallery. The missing painting is also compulsory to find, to solve the puzzle.

Where to Find the Missing Snake Painting

To solve the puzzle, you must first locate the absent Snake Painting. This task unfolds as you progress through the main storyline, specifically during the ‘mask collecting’ journey.

Upon discovering the Silver Mask, your journey leads you to Alcina Dimitrescu’s (also known as Lady Dimitrescu) living quarters, marked by a Typewriter for saving your progress.

Adjacent to the Typewriter, a door opens to a washroom where the crucial Snake Painting is concealed, waiting to be found.

Now, that you’ve got the missing Snake Painting, you can solve the Predation Gallery puzzle. At first, it can be confusing but there are different paintings of animals in the gallery. Line up all the prey in front of their Predators, to solve the puzzle.

Lion painting cannot be moved to the right side and the Butterfly painting cannot be moved to the left side. The right side is for the Predators and the Left side is for the Prey.

Here is the arrangement for the paintings to solve the puzzle.

  • Place the Sheep Painting in front of the Lion Painting.
  • Place the Frog Painting next to the Sheep Painting.
  • Place the Snake Painting in front of the Frog Painting.
  • Place the Spider Painting next to the Snake Painting.

After you’ve placed the paintings in the correct order, the bars will open. You can get the treasure chest from unlocked bars. You will get a Trinocular Key from the treasure chest.
