How to Unlock TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
First, unlock Technical Machine (TM) by winning the Academy Ace Tournament. Because the moves you will learn are the end-level moves that will increase Pokémon level to 100. Most of the time TM moves are learned to increase the EV stats of the Pokémon which is required by the Tera Raid Events.
Once you have unlocked then follow these two methods to craft TM in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Hyper is the natural method to teach moves to a Pokémon but for TMs you need to do multiple things.
How to Craft a TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
To craft a TM you need to go to the Poke Center in any area there you will see a Machine that has a Wi-Fi Sign on it. Interact with the Machine and you will have the option to make a TM or Exchange Materials for LP.
Select TM Made Option and you will see a TM moves that you can learn. Each move has specific material and some moves are also hidden. There are a total of 171 TM Moves in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Once you learned a move you can’t undo it. So you need to choose carefully what move you want to learn.
How to Craft Take Down TM
Take Down is a hidden Move that you will be able to find in the Northeast Zapapico. Go to the location and you will find this move in the form of a Poke Ball in front of a hole situated in front of the rock.
These are materials that are required to craft this move.
- Yungoos Fur (3)
- Lechonk Hair (3)
- 400 LP
- You will get Yungoos Fur by evolving the Yungoos into Gumshoos.
- You can get Lechonk Hair by evolving the Lechok into Onikologone Male or Female.
- You can get the League Points by crafting the items and getting the items by evolving the Pokemon.
After getting all these items you can craft the Take Down Move at the TM Machine. After crafting you can switch the moves by going into the Pokemon Menu.
