Best Starfield Lead Location To Farm

If you want to upgrade or craft weapons, armor, or equipment then you need a steady supply of lead in Startfield. Just like Titanium or Antimony Lead (Pb) is a rare element to find.

In this guide, we have explained the best location to farm lead in Starfield.

How to Find Lead in Starfield (Planet Locations)

You can also find lead on planets such as Earth, Kreet, Magreth, and Jemison, but some of these planets may be in different solar systems. To reach them, you’ll need to learn how to Grav Jump.

Here are a few reliable methods to farm lead efficiently:

1. Use an Extractor at Outpost (Jemison System)

For a consistent supply of lead in Starfield you need to place a Lead Extractor at one of your Outposts. You can construct Extractors once your Outpost has the necessary power upgrades. This way, you can gather Lead (Pb) gradually without actively searching for it.

For the best results, it’s recommended to set up your extractor in the Jemison system. This area is abundant in lead resources and is easy to reach in the early stages of the game.

2. How To Mine Lead in Starfield

If you haven’t built an Outpost yet, you can still mine Lead manually in Starfield. Use your Heller’s Cutter and scan planets for Lead deposits, which are marked with the “Pb” symbol on your scanner. When flying near planets, your ship will also indicate if they contain lead.

After landing, start mining by breaking rocks and mineral deposits near the Pb markers. Keep in mind that some planets have more lead veins than others, so be efficient in your mining to gather as much as possible quickly.

3. Purchase Lead from Vendors

In Starfield, lead is one of the materials you can collect. You can buy it from vendors in main cities on certain planets like Amoli Bava (on Jemison), Dietrich Sieghart (on Neon), Saburo Okadugbo (on Neon), and Wen Tseng (on Jemison).

Other shops that you can find in Starfield Solar System are Akila, The Key, New Atlantis, and Cydonia where you can buy lead.
